What makes this program stand out from other yoga studio training programs is the guest faculty, specialty lectures and hands-on style of learning in which this program is delivered. This will include experiential learning in asana, pranayamas, bhandas, kriyas, chanting, mantra, mediation, beginning Sanskrit, and other traditional yoga techniques.
You will also learn about the human physical body from both an anatomical and physiological view and how it relates to the chakras, nadis, and principles to the yoga practice.
Explore arm balances, inversions, binds and backbends; delve into a deeper version of the anatomical and physiological understanding relating to connective tissue, muscular work and how you are supported by gravity; learn various pranayama (breath) techniques and restorative teaching techniques, advancing skills on language timing, modifications; and learn how to integrate dharma and yoga philosophy as part of your asana practice and teaching style; and experience various styles of yoga such as Ashtanga, Vinyasa, Hatha, Iyengar, Power Yoga, Anusara, and others.
